Project Description
The Mill Street Reservoir Expansion project advances the Town of New Tecumseth’s long‑term water infrastructure strategy by developing a modern reservoir facility designed to support growing community demand. The project focuses on transforming the site to accommodate increased storage capacity, improved servicing connections, and future expansion needs. Through careful coordination of site preparation, civil works, and integration with municipal systems, the expansion enhances the reliability, efficiency, and resilience of the region’s water supply network.
Scope
- Site demolition and stripping of existing site grounds, tree removals and clearing all existing vegetation
- Supply and install all ESC measures including double-row silt fence, temporary swales, rock check dams, etc.
- Detailed excavation and backfilling of new reservoir structure.
- Earthworks rough grading of the site for all new paved and landscape areas.
- Installation of all storm, and sanitary sewers and structures
- Installation of new watermain transmission mainlines, well services, and domestic watermains for new reservoir and future phase connections.
