Project Description
The Mississauga Hospice Centre project involves developing a new hospice facility that will provide dedicated end‑of‑life and palliative care services within the community. The Welton Centre for Hospice Palliative Care will feature 12 specialized care suites and space to support Hospice Mississauga’s current and future community-based programs. With construction beginning in January 2026 and opening anticipated in late 2027, the project focuses on preparing and servicing the site to accommodate the new building, associated infrastructure, and landscaped areas. Once complete, the centre will offer a home‑like environment staffed around the clock by care professionals, expanding local access to hospice services in Mississauga.
Scope
- Site demolition and stripping of existing site grounds, asphalt parking striping, and clearing all existing vegetation
- Supply and install all ESC measures and tree-protection fencing.
- Detailed footing excavation and backfilling of new hospice centre building.
- Earthworks rough grading of the site for all new paved and landscape areas.
- Installation of all storm, sanitary, and watermain lines and structures, including street connections to existing mainline sewers.
