Project Description
The Riverview Manor redevelopment in Peterborough is a 256-bed long-term care facility led by Omni Quality Living as part of the Ontario government’s initiative to expand and modernize long-term care across the province. The new home will offer a mix of Basic and Private Rooms within spacious resident home areas, enhanced with modern amenities and designed to meet the latest care standards. This redevelopment aims to provide a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents in the Peterborough community.
Scope
- Site demolition and stripping of existing site grounds, tree removals and clearing all existing vegetation
- Supply and install all ESC measures including double-row silt fence, temporary swales, rock check dams, etc.
- Earthworks rough grading of the site for all new paved and landscape areas.
- Detailed excavation and backfilling of new retirement residence building
- Construction of stormwater management pond – including supply and install of synthetic clay liner, rip-rap spillways, gravel access roads with geo-web, cable concrete, and turf reinforcement.
- Installation of all storm, sanitary, and watermain lines and structures, including two OGS storm structures and stormwater management system
- Topsoil placement and final grading.
