Project Description
The Waterdown Fire & Police Station project involves the development of a new facility that will accommodate both fire and police services within the Waterdown community. The project includes preparing the site for construction, establishing the required site conditions, and completing the foundational work necessary to support the building and associated infrastructure. Once finished, the facility will provide consolidated space for municipal emergency service operations.
Scope
- Site demolition and stripping of existing site grounds, tree removals and clearing all existing vegetation
- Supply and install all ESC measures, including double-row silt fence, temporary sediment traps and hickenbottoms, and rock check-dam swales.
- Detailed footing excavation and backfilling of new station building
- Earthworks rough grading of the site for all new paved and landscape areas.
- Installation of all storm, sanitary, and watermain lines and structures, including two watermain connections to existing CPP mainlines.
- Supply and install DECAST I-Storm stormwater management system, Oil Grit Separator (OGS) and Oil Water Separator (OWS) structures.
